EMPOWER-Autism
Parent Support Program

Program Overview

Empower-Autism is an evidence-based, group program designed to support parents and caregivers of children recently diagnosed with autism. Through guided discussion, practical education, and peer connection, the program helps families better understand their child's unique strengths and needs while building skills to navigate communication, behavior, sensory experiences, and the education system. Grounded in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Empower-Autism also supports parents' own emotional wellbeing by offering tools to manage stress, build resilience, and practice meaningful self-care. Delivered by experienced facilitators in a supportive group environment, the program creates a space where parents feel informed, heard, and connected with others on a similar journey.
